Bring a piece of Buffalo’s Wright legacy to your tree. Frank Lloyd Wright often worked stylized designs from nature into his art glass windows, rugs, fabrics and furnishings. The Tree of Life, his most famous art glass design, comes from the Darwin D. Martin House in Buffalo, the largest of his Prairie-style homes, with several buildings and gardens. This Wrightsicle ornament is based on a window from the main house. The tree’s branching shape is cut into silver-tone panels that join into a long, three-dimensional icicle that catches the light as it turns. It’s a perfect gift for Graycliff fans, since Wright designed both homes for Darwin and Isabelle Martin.
